Immigrant Connection
Immigrant Connection is a legal service network providing quality and affordable legal assistance to immigrants across the U.S. IC’s legal representatives and staff support under-resourced community members in a variety of cases: the citizenship and naturalization process, status adjustment, family petitions, and more. With 34 sites nationwide, the organization has impacted over 50,000 families and makes it possible for their communities to thrive.
This semester, our team will analyze and report on the capacity of IC’s work, evaluating whether its sites have the potential to offer more services and reach a larger number of clients. We will additionally seek to uncover the driving forces behind the choice many immigrants make not to pursue available assistance despite their need for it. Throughout the semester, team members will develop data analysis, research, and technical writing skills, culminating in a final white paper to be presented to IC administration.
