South Bend Community School Corporation
We are thrilled to continue our partnership with the South Bend Community School Corporation (SBCSC), the largest school system in St. Joseph County and home to over 13,000 students in the local area. This semester, our research will focus on post-secondary career pathways for students, including college, vocational training, and direct entry into the workforce. SBCSC students pursue a variety of paths after graduation, yet many may not be aware of the full range of post-secondary and career opportunities available to them.
Our main task will be establishing a district-wide initiative to promote awareness, readiness, and enthusiasm among students and parents. We will consider a range of strategies, namely case studies and interviews, in our research, so we need all the creativity and passion you’ve got. We especially encourage anyone interested in education, fascinated by career opportunities, and passionate about helping local student populations thrive to apply!
